Drive approximately two miles off Farrington Highway into the lush, peaceful valley, and you will be greeted by Maunaolu Street and the guarded entrance to Mauna ‘Olu. With mountains on three sides and an elevation of up to 1000 feet, Mauna ‘Olu offers spectacular views of the pristine Pacific Ocean in the distance and overlooks two public 18-hole golf courses, the Makaha Valley Resort and the Makaha Valley East. Its Hawaiian name “pleasant mountain” reflects the rural retreat’s ambiance – with rain offering vegetation and a cooler climate than the coast.

Drive a few minutes and the sandy beaches and famed surf of Makaha await. The Wai‘anae coast offers an abundance of outdoor activities – from surfing to hiking to fishing to whale watching. Ground will soon be broken to build the 100+ single-family units. Homebuyers will be able to choose from seven floor plans, ranging from approximately 1,100 to 1,750 square feet. And every home will have a private fenced backyard, offering opportunities for relaxing BBQs while enjoying the fresh, Hawaii country air.
