What is the current construction status of Azure Ala Moana?

Updated June 13, 2020 - During the first quarter of 2020, the parking garage ramp, foundational framework, and the installation of the elevator were completed. 

At the start of the year, the ACK Construction crew poured the parking structure concrete for floors 4 through 6. They also worked on the drain, plumbing, and electrical lines as well as manholes. The construction team will continue installing ductwork, plumbing and the fire sprinkler system as they build each floor of the tower. 

By the end of the first quarter of 2020, the lobby, parking lot, and commercial retail plaza were complete. A month later, the 9th-floor amenity deck was complete. During Hawaii’s quarantine time in April 2020, the concrete for the tenth floor was poured, making Azure Ala Moana to be 100 feet tall. 

62 tons of blue glass – the trademark “Azure” of the building – were installed on the lower levels in May 2020 and will continue to be installed on the residential levels through the summer.

Concrete construction is expected to be completed at about one floor per week, so new residents can anticipate enjoying the luxurious building as planned in 2021. Drive by the building on Keeaumoku Street to see the anticipated 400-foot high rise edging further to new heights in the sky.
