Living at Symphony Honolulu

Symphony Honolulu was built in 2016, making it one of the more recently built luxury buildings in the Kakaako region. It was developed by OliverMcMillan, who also developed the Pacifica Honolulu building. Standing at 400 feet tall, Symphony Honolulu is a whopping 45 stories and includes 388 residential units. Residents enjoy beautiful ocean, mountain, or city views through their floor-to-ceiling windows and luxury amenities deck. Living at Symphony Honolulu combines the luxury of going on vacation with the comfort of being in your own home.

As a mixed-use building, Symphony Honolulu is located above retail space, which is highly convenient for residents. A large portion of the ground floor is occupied by JN Automotive’s Velocity Honolulu, which is a car dealership that specializes in luxury vehicles. Additionally, there is a fine dining restaurant, a café (which is perfect for grabbing your morning coffee on the way out!), and a barber shop. The retail space also features a women’s spa, a food and wine store, and additional restaurants.

Symphony’s location is truly hard to beat, as it is at the corner of two major streets: Kapiolani Boulevard and Ward Avenue. This central location makes it easy to get to Honolulu, Waikiki, Ward Village, and the Ala Moana Center. The building is just down the road from a planned rail station, about a half-mile from Ala Moana Beach Park, and a short walk from numerous restaurant options. This closeness to everything promotes an active lifestyle, and you’ll see plenty of walkers and bikers making their way around town throughout the day.

Unit Features at Symphony Honolulu

What makes Symphony Honolulu different from other condominium buildings in the area is the large floorplan designs. Units have 8 to 10 foot ceilings (with the height difference depending on the floor). Half of the units offer mountain views, and the other half offer ocean views. Not surprisingly, the higher the floor, the better the views tend to be.

Floor plan designs feature 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom units. Each 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom unit includes at least two bathrooms as well. The 1-bedroom units are 672 square feet. The 2-bedrooms range from 922 through 1,274 square feet, and the 3-bedrooms are either 1,454 or 1,520 square feet. Views from each unit vary depending on the positioning of the unit within the building, with options for views of Diamond Head, the ocean, Ewa, and the mountains.

A majority of the floors at Symphony Honolulu contain only 11 units, and there are 4 elevators serving the building. Once you walk into your unit, you’ll find wide plank engineered oak floors, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and large, open-concept kitchens. The kitchens feature Studio Becker Cabinets, Bosch appliances, and quartz countertops for a luxurious cooking experience. Depending on the floor plan, some units feature master bathrooms with dual sinks.

Symphony Honolulu is an environmentally friendly building that features electronic vehicle charging stations. The building also uses many solar panels and meets the standards for USGBC LEED certification, a prestigious certification for buildings utilizing greener resources and featuring high-quality indoor environments. Around half of the units also include glass lanais for letting the fresh sunshine bring warmth into your home.

Upgraded Amenities

The amenities at Symphony Honolulu help to elevate the building, which already features luxury units. You can rest easy knowing that the building is secure with a 24-hour security tower lobby. The building is also only accessible via key fob, and parking entrances are separated for commercial and residential parking.

This set-up is perfect for having family members come to visit without worrying about having enough space.

Additionally, Symphony Honolulu residents have access to an incredible fitness center and yoga studio, a spa and daybed retreat, and a wellness center. Caring for the body and mind is an important regional value, and Symphony Honolulu provides opportunities to do so while also being located in a highly walkable area.

Enjoying free time is easy at Symphony Honolulu , even if you decide to stay in. The complex features a private movie theater with multi-media rooms. You’ll love spending time in the entertainment lounge, which is equipped for karaoke nights with friends and family. For more formal events, residents can utilize the social dining room, which comes complete with a catering kitchen.

Storage space for bikes and surfboards is available for the convenience of residents at Symphony Honolulu . Additionally, residents have access to a luxury driving service, and exotic driving experience, and AutoSpa rejuvenation. These extra amenities provide conveniences for residents that are not typical of other condominium buildings in the region.

Living in the Neighborhood

Residents at Symphony Honolulu are able to access a variety of shopping, dining, and outdoor experiences, in addition to being very close to the beach. Ward Village are both within walking distance, and there is even a weekly farmers’ market in a nearby parking lot.

Music fans will appreciate that the Blaisdell Center is right across the street. This multi-faceted center features a concert hall (which has welcomed singers such as Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars), an exhibition hall, and an arena. This venue has earned its nickname as “Hawaii’s Community Center on the island of Oahu.”
