And, opulent penthouses adorn the top floor of each Ward Village residential tower. While each penthouse is uniquely designed with the high-end buyer in mind, every Ward Village penthouse offers expansive, top-floor views of Oahu’s vast natural beauty, and astute attention to design details aim to achieve comfort and aesthetic desires.

Ward Village’s most opulent penthouse thus far is housed in Waiea – the ultra-luxurious residential tower built on Ward Village’s front row across from the Pacific Ocean.

Waiea means “water of life” and each penthouse unit in this 2016-built residential tower flows with luxurious finishes and accommodations. Waiea has penthouse units on floors 32 through 35, with a grand penthouse on floor 36. The 16 penthouses offer a range of floor plans, and every unit has ten- to 13-foot ceilings to better bask in the views from floor-to-ceiling windows:

The Waiea Grand Penthouse on floor 36 is described as “the pinnacle of high-end luxury living and architectural sophistication” by Leading Estates of the World. It is Waiea’s largest penthouse. 360-degree views, more than 10,000 square feet of living space, a private infinity pool, a wine room, a media room and more make this two-story estate simply exquisite.


Built in 2017, Anaha is another Ward Village luxury residential tower – with a glass-bottom pool and on-site tennis and sand volleyball courts. And, penthouses at Anaha live up to the building’s reputation of luxury.

Anaha’s penthouse residences are on the 34th to the 37th floor, and grand penthouses are on the 38th floor (Anaha’s top floor). All penthouses have 10-foot ceilings and grand penthouses have up to 11-foot ceilings in some rooms.

Anaha’s largest penthouse is Grand Penthouse A. The five-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bathroom grand penthouse exudes luxurious living. Over 6,700 square feet of indoor living expands to an additional 1,110 square feet of lanai and private infinity pool space.

Two two-bedroom corner-unit penthouses have recently been on the market. Unit #3507 and Unit #3407 both are a little over 1,300 square feet. Each penthouse has expansive views from floor-to-ceiling windows, a huge kitchen great for entertaining and upgraded bathtubs, showers and toilets.


Koula is known for fusing luxury and nature and for its enviable eighth-floor amenity deck. And on Koula’s 41st floor, 14 penthouse units are available for the discerning Ward Village home buyer:

All Koula penthouses have 10-foot ceilings, surpassing the 8’8” ceilings on Koula’s lower floors. Detailed floor plans can be found in Koula’s blueprints.

The largest penthouse in Koula is unit #4100 – with almost 1,500 square feet. With views of Diamond Head past the Waikiki high rises, the vast Pacific Ocean and the Oahu coastline, this 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom has two lanais to savor the views. The open floor plan is adorned with outstanding finishes: wood flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows, Miele appliances and more. Two regular-sized parking stalls accompany the unit.

Perhaps a smaller-sized penthouse is what you are looking for? Unit #4101 is a one-bedroom, one-bathroom penthouse with a little over 700 square feet of space. Unit #4106 is another one-bedroom, one-bathroom unit with almost 600 square feet to live in.

Built in 2021, Koula penthouses offer expansive views and amenities along with outstanding finishes and access to all Ward Village has to offer.


Aalii is another 2021-built Ward Village residential tower known for its modern and sleek architecture and interior finishes. Resort-style amenities on the eighth floor compliment the penthouse sky deck on the 42nd floor, which is the perfect place to gather for socialization during sunset.

Eighteen penthouses are available on the 41st floor of Aalii, mostly with modest square footage but outstanding views and 10-foot ceilings:

The largest penthouse in Aalii is unit #4115 with 835 square feet according to the Aalii condominium map. This corner-unit penthouse has two large bedrooms and two large bathrooms and an expansive living and kitchen areas. Two large lanais allow owners to bask in the ocean and mountain views. Small luxuries include engineered wooden floor throughout the unit, a dishwasher, stone countertops and complete backsplashes and carpeted bedrooms.


Victoria Place is another ultra-luxury Ward Village tower that offers penthouse units on its upper floors. While building construction is scheduled to be completed in 2024, Victoria Place building plans and floor plans help us visualize its final construction.

Thirty penthouses are expected to reside on floors 38 to 40 of Victoria Place. Units can be combined to offer more space but the Developer's Public Report indicates the following floor plan configurations:

Penthouse units #3800, #3900 and #4000 are the largest, offering 1,847 square feet of living space with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. These units also offer two private parking stalls.

Victoria Place is expected to offer luxurious indoor and outdoor features, reminiscent of the plantation estate era of Victoria Ward. And, the Victoria Place penthouse plans promise to let in natural light while also showcasing the best finishes and design features.


Aeo was built in 2018, and the residential tower rests on top of Whole Foods Market in the heart of Ward Village. Aeo’s array of amenities seemingly offer limitless options for outdoor and indoor recreational activities for both individuals and groups alike.

And, Aeo’s penthouse residences reside on the 40th floor. All the penthouse units have 10-foot ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows to take in Honolulu’s breathtaking views. The thirteen Aeo penthouses offer a range of floor plans:

Aeo’s unit #4000 is its largest penthouse at a little over 1,300 square feet with three bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The sleek condo offers expansive Ala Moana coastline views and a parking stall with an electric charging station.

Penthouse unit #4013 is a one-bedroom unit – also with stunning views and upgrades like electric blinds, Bosch appliances and engineered hardwood floors throughout. It recently sold on June 8, 2023 for $905,000.


Ke Kilohana is one of Ward Village’s residential towers that offers reserved housing. Built in 2017, the dog-friendly building also has a kid’s play area and gym on its sky deck.

Ke Kilohana penthouses are on the 42nd floor, and they all have 9-foot ceilings and sleek finishes. The six penthouse units offers a handful of living options:

Ke Kilohana’s largest penthouse is Unit #4210, and with over 2,100 square feet and three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, it has room to live and work. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer mesmerizing views from its high floor.

Unit #4209 was recently on the market. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit with 1,300 square feet was listed at $1,275,000. Magnificent views accompany comfortable in-unit amenities like a washer and dryer, split air conditioners and a storage unit.

Another three-bedroom Unit #4211 was recently sold for $1,385,000. With an additional third bathroom and over 1,600 square feet of living space, this split-level penthouse also has two covered parking stalls – in addition to a Ward Village penthouse’s signature mountain and ocean views.
