A majority of the amenities at Waiea are located on the 7^th floor deck, aside from the dog park, which is on the 4^th floor. My favorite parts of this deck are the resort-style locker rooms, which feel like high-end spas. These locker suites include steam rooms, saunas, and treatment rooms for residents to access without even having to leave the building. Another favorite at Waiea is the infinity-edged pool, which includes a Pacific Ocean view. Be sure to check out the hot tub as well!

Families will enjoy the children’s area, which also includes a water play area that the kids will love. Adults can check out the sunset bar, which offers incredible views of all of the beautiful nature around Waiea. Feel free to relax in the resort-style cabanas or enjoy a movie in the onsite cinema.

In addition to these features, there are also rooms available for gatherings and events. The building includes private dining rooms and even a chef’s kitchen. Residents can make use of the quiet lounges or the library. Some of the more unique amenities offered include access to the indoor golf simulator and the theater and performance room. At Waiea Ward Village, residents will have plenty of space to relax and explore their interests.

Nearby Attractions

As noted previously, Waiea is located outside of downtown Honolulu but remains close to a variety of attractions and weekly necessities. Residents can literally walk to Whole Foods to pick up their groceries. Ala Moana Beach Park and the Ala Moana Shopping Center are both within walking distance of the development, which is perfect for endless days in the sun and shopping at the local boutiques. The building is also close to Kewalo Harbor (which often attracts fishermen and sailors) and numerous trails for hiking.

Generally speaking, the Ward Village development is very pedestrian-friendly, with extra wide sidewalks and dedicated bike lanes, which promotes physical fitness throughout the community.
