In October’s New Homes Hawaii Report, we’ve witnessed increased activity across the board. Developers are setting release dates, construction is gaining momentum, and a wealth of information is flowing from their end. Honolulu County is continuing to work on easing permitting restrictions, and as the holidays approach, we're gearing up for a busy season.
Here are some highlights from this month’s report.

After six months of eager anticipation, the public sales release for Kaulu by Gentry is set for Saturday, November 18, 2023. The good news is that we now have access to new renderings, floor plans, and pricing details. However, the bad news is that reserved housing may not be available until later this year or early next. Despite this, we highly recommend visiting the model homes when they open on November 18th. Both the single-family homes and multi-family townhome units will be on display, with the exception of the reserved housing (87 of the multi-family townhome units), which will be released once everything is finalized with HCDA.
We visited the site yesterday (Friday, November 10) and took a few shots of what to expect.

New renderings of Launiu Ward Village were released and the public sales launch is set for January 2024. If you're interested in getting a unit before the release, we're able to get you in the door before the launch.
Nanea II was released in late October. This was an unexpected release as everyone thought that Malu Koa West was going to be first. In this first phase of Nanea II, 16 four-bedroom homes and 14 three-bedroom homes were released with pricing starting at $1.1 million.
D.R. Horton has been on a roll in the month of October. Currently, there are about 15 homes left for sale with Kanalani, 5 homes with Bluffs at Nanaina, and Nahele had about 20 units go on sale in October, where they just released another set in November. Nahele has their model homes open and pricing starts at $426,090 for 1-bedroom condo units.
Kaliu in Our Kakaako switched from using their old website domain to using https://www.kaliualamoana.com/. The video clearly depicts that Kaliu will be a luxury residence. More details are pending.
