Kehalani Gardens is located on the far eastern side of the Kehalani master-planned development. Initial development took place in 2005 and was headed by Stanford Carr. The community currently totals at 135 homes, which are spread out across 22 buildings. This neighborhood is at the base of the West Maui Mountains, just south of the city of Wailuku. Location is just one of the many features responsible for the popularity of Kehalani Gardens.
There are 3 separate floorplans available within this community—1 is a ranch-style plan, and the other 2 are 2-story plans. The single-story units are located at the edges of each building, with only 1 shared wall with the neighboring unit. These 3-bedroom and 2-bathroom homes are 1,043 square feet.
The other floorplans share 2 walls with neighboring units, but, in general, the neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. One of these plans is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom unit that is 963 square feet. The other plan is a bit larger and includes 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms at 1,170 square feet.
