Mamaka is one of the neighborhoods of the Ho’opili development, a large-scale architectural and community project consisting of different types of homes, including studios, condominiums, townhomes, flats, commercial spaces, and single-family homes. Located between Ewa Beach and Kapolei, this community offers a variety of amenities and is close to restaurants, stores, farmer’s markets, and other indoor and outdoor attractions.
The Ho’opili lifestyle combines convenience with sustainability and comfort, with a focus on building a family-friendly environment. While the neighborhood carries a relaxed, suburban energy, it is highly interconnected with more urban areas with easy access to rail and bus stops. Additionally, the Ho’opili community is pedestrian-friendly, with extra-wide sidewalks and numerous parks. Unlike many townhomes and condominiums, these units are detached, allowing for increased privacy and a separated yard. Each yard is enclosed by a fence and is landscaped prior to move in. The Ho’opili community is very environmentally conscious, and some homes even come with a fruit tree in the yard.
Speaking of environmental awareness, these modern condominiums come with solar-powered water heaters with panels. This helps residents to save on money and conserve energy simultaneously. Other outdoor features include access to a covered garage (with space for 1-2 cars, depending on the floor plan) as well as additional visitor parking stalls.
The insides of the Mamaka condominiums are just as beautiful as the outsides, with 5 different floor plan options available. Each plan consists of 2 floors, with 3-4 bedrooms. All bedrooms are on the second floor and come with soft, comfortable carpets. The master bedrooms include walk-in closets, and some also have an extra storage closet within the master bathroom.
Each floorplan contains 2.5 bathrooms, with the half bathroom located on the lower floor and the 2 full bathrooms upstairs. The master bedroom includes a walk-in shower. These features help residents to easily secure their homes and to take control of different components (such as the light switches) remotely.
One of the family-friendly features of the Mamaka floor plans is the inclusion of a built-in family “drop” zone on the second floor. This is an area within the hallway that is meant for the storage of electronic devices. USB ports are conveniently located within this station, making it easy to charge several devices simultaneously.
In addition, some of the features that are specific to the floor plan include the covered lanais, a spare closet located under the stairs for additional storage, and a bonus family room.
