New Homes at Liko

The Hoopili development continues to roll out new neighborhoods of single-family homes that sell quickly via lottery system. The Liko phase, which initially started selling in 2020, includes homes that feature a combination of the exterior and interior styles of some of the previous phases. On the outside, the homes have a very contemporary look that reminds me of the houses released in the Olena phase. The floorplan designs are similar to the styles seen in the Aulu phase. Some of the plans even include an outdoor covered lanai for enjoying the fresh air without even having to leave home.

Like many of the other single-family home releases, Hoopili Liko offers a variety of housing styles, including duplex, single-level, and split-level designs. There are a total of 6 different layouts. These homes include 3-4 bedrooms along with 2-2.5 bathrooms. Floorplans range from 1,108 through 2,109 square feet. In fact, these homes are some of the largest units that have been built so far in the Hoopili development!

Additionally, one of the floorplans, named ‘Eono, includes an accessory dwelling unit (ADU) that is up to code to use as a rental unit within the home. This is great for families living with multiple generations of relatives or people looking to rent out a room in their home for some extra income. Since Hoopili is also close to a few higher educational institutions, you may even want to consider having your adult child occupy the ADU so he or she can save some money and have a convenient commute to school.

Original sales for Liko homes started in the high $600,000s to the low $700,000s. Resale costs will likely vary depending on the size, lot location, and any upgraded features the previous owner has incorporated that add value to the property.

Liko Homes: Indoor and Outdoor Features

As previously mentioned, specific features may vary depending on the unit of interest, but there are many interior and exterior components that tend to be pretty standard across these homes. For example, each unit includes designer-selected flooring packages and split air conditioning that covers the span of the entire home.

On the outside, future homeowners will notice the beautiful front yards with lush, edible landscaping. Liko homes come set with an irrigation system to keep your yard looking healthy and green. The “urban garden” edible landscaping is a common theme across many of the neighborhoods in Hoopili. Residents are able to pick apples with their kids or grab some herbs from the garden for dinner. This initiative falls in alignment with the Hoopili development’s commitment to sustainability and the incorporation of nature into home life.

The outdoor design of Hoopili Liko homes is contemporary and sleek. Some of the units also come with a covered lanai. This was an add-on feature for the original floorplans and is perfect for enjoying an evening outside with the family.

Some of the common inside features found within Liko homes include the Home is Connected Smart Home System. This modern, high-tech system allows residents to control many aspects of their homes, such as locking the front door, adjusting the thermostat, or turning the lights on and off, conveniently from a phone app. The SkyBell, a video doorbell that includes audio functions, is also a part of the smart home set.

Liko homes are equipped with modern interior finishes. Kitchens include stainless steel appliances and plywood cabinetry with soft-close doors, so you’ll never have to worry about hearing the awful sound of a cabinet door slamming against wood again. Each home also comes with a tankless gas hot water heater. Kitchens are equipped with a Kohler single-basin vault kitchen sink. Additional features may be specific to particular unit, so it is important to inquire with the individual seller.

Liko: In a Perfect Location

Homes within the Hoopili development are known for their close proximity to pretty much everything, and there are future plans to add in more convenient amenities for residents to enjoy. For example, Liko is close to parks and a children’s tot lot for hours of outdoor fun. The Liko neighborhood is also near the 3 planned future HART rail stops, future schools, and future community centers.

Outside of the development, residents will find plenty of things to do for fun. Hoopili is only a few minutes away from Ka Makana Ali'i, a huge shopping center that hosts a movie theater, restaurants, and stores. Ka Makana Ali'i serves as a home to a farmers’ market and also hosts community events.

There are a variety of attractions in near the Ewa Beach and Kapolei neighborhoods that are suitable for both children and adults. For outdoor activities, residents of Hoopili Liko are close to the White Plains Surfing Beach, waterfalls, and a variety of hiking and biking pathways. The Hoopili development also has open green spaces and 4J soccer fields that can be used by residents.
